This painting brought back memories of a time when I was a kid. It was the opposing social restrictions, prejudices, ethnic cultures and romantic attitudes that I tried to capture, based on the story and its characters. This inside cover illustration only dealt with the memories of the forbidden relationship, not the update. I thought the models did an excellent job expressing the emotions.
