The innocence of these young models helped me get a true feeling of young love. I remember trying to get them to cuddle; it was difficult for young inexperienced models to act out such intimacy, especially when they were really strangers. The nighttime illustrations of the great artist/illustrators, Frederick Remington and Norman Rockwell, were a tremendous help to me in painting the night colors.
