From Victorian England to the dangerous embrace of the tropics - Love blossomed in the warm glow of undying passion”, is a direct quote from the actual cover and is essentially the motivation for the art. The model I used as the hero was a friend, a fireman and the woman was a model. They captured the Victorian era’s manner and emotions dressed in their costumes. The background, as usual, was painted with the aid of scrap material.
